In fact, Nasrallah could buy a simpler and cheaper version of the drone from the Hamleys toy store in London and propel it with remote control over the Shabaa Farms. It is possible that Nasrallah was not aware of the change of tune in Tehran. His Iranian controllers must have forgotten to inform him that they now wanted to cool things down because talk of war could harm Obama and help Netanyahu. In other words, the puppet was singing from yesterday’s hymn sheet. Khamenei and Ahmadinejad have been rattled by the recent run on the Iranian currency, the rial, which has pushed the economy to the edge of the precipice. While the economic crisis has many reasons, including mismanagement and hastily introduced reforms, there is no doubt that talk of war has been a factor in people’s rush to buy dollars. “Assad destroyed Syria and wants to destroy Lebanon.” Jumblatt also told LBC television that Bashar al-Assad was avenging Hassan for uncovering former Information Minister Michel Samaha’s attempt to smuggle explosives into Lebanon from Syria. Hassan was killed on Friday in the huge explosion that rocked the Beirut area of Ashrafieh, which left 8 dead and 78 wounded in mainly Christian East Beirut, in the first such attack in the Lebanese capital since 2008. Hassan was close to former PM Saad Hariri, a main pillar in the Lebanese opposition and hostile to the regime in Syria. He had been tipped to take over as ISF head at the end of this year. BEIRUT – A prominent Lebanese intelligence official opposed to President Bashar al-Assad was killed in a huge car bomb in Beirut in another sign that Syria’s civil war is dragging its volatile neighbor into the conflict. Wissam al-Hassan, who led an investigation that implicated Syria and Hezbollah in the assassination of former prime minister Rafik al-Hariri, and seven other people were killed when the bomb exploded in central Beirut on Friday afternoon. Hassan, a Sunni Muslim who was close to Hariri, also helped uncover a bomb plot that led to the arrest and indictment in August of a pro-Assad former Lebanese minister, in a setback for Damascus and its Lebanese allies including Hezbollah. The bombing was the most serious to hit the capital since Hariri’s 2005 assassination and prompted Sunni Muslims to take to streets across the country, burning tires and blocking roads in a show of sectarian anger. Hariri’s son, Saad al-Hariri, accused Assad of being behind the bombing, while Lebanon’s opposition March 14 bloc called on Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s government, which includes ministers from Hezbollah, to resign over the bombing. Rio here as to hopefully save anybody the time from going in based on their 10 year old, out-of-date and unmanaged website.

Hassan was close to former PM Saad Hariri, who is hostile to the regime in Syria. Some of the men blocking Lebanon’s roads were armed, the journalists added. Sunni Muslim security official Wissam al-Hassan was assassinated on Friday in a car bomb attack in east Beirut that killed another seven people and left 86 people injured, a government official said. The Lebanese opposition blamed the Damascus regime of President Bashar al-Assad of staging the attack. The ISF played a central role in the arrest in August of former Lebanese information minister Michel Samaha, who has close links to Damascus and was charged with planning attacks in Lebanon and transporting explosives. The ISF was also deeply involved in seeking the arrest of those responsible for a host of attacks and assassinations between 2004 and 2008, including the 2005 murder of ex-Premier Rafiq Hariri. Many buildings were badly damaged by the explosion in a street two blocks off of Sassine Square. Beirut has undergone massive reconstruction to repair the war damage and in recent years has enjoyed a tourist boom, boosted by the city’s pulsating nightlife. That source of revenue, crucial to Lebanon’s prosperity, is now under threat. Khattar Abou Diab, a Middle East expert at the University of Paris, said the attack was clearly linked to the Syria crisis and Hassan was one of the few security chiefs protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence. “This is now revenge against a man who confronted the Syrians and revenge against a district, a Christian district in the heart of Beirut. Regional powers are fighting in Syria and now also want to fight in Lebanon,” he said. Hezbollah condemned the bombing and called on the security forces and judiciary “to exert maximum efforts to uncover the perpetrators and bring them to justice”.

Omplaining about delayes, and walk-in wait time issues? Walk-ins as we know is not the walk in the park for any establishment especially medical clinics; have you ever tried walking in for services at your hair or nail salons? Walkins have same priority as you see in ERs where patients in most distress needs taken in first, so people should respect that. Pharmacy is conveniently located right beside main doors so you don’t have to drive around for prescription medicins. Waiting area is comfortable, may need new furniture, chairs for sure as they have been there since the last major renovations. My family of four and our 14 years of experience with this clinic, I can happily give 5 star rating all the way. I absolutely love all of the front end staff at Oak Park medical. They are staff that you can joke around with during tense situations when everybody is on edge and they sure do know how to get the job done. I see on this review that people are not happy. If you are going to go to the walk-in clinic at Oakpark medical of course it is going to be a bit of a wait but get there before 830 and patiently wait. The staff will always Inform you that you can go and come back and give you an approximate wait time to enable you to get other things done. It’s a given people get sick people lose their patience and people get frustrated but the best thing that I have found is that you have to treat all people with respect at the clinic and elsewhere and you will get the same respect in return. Thank you Dr. Choi and all of your staff I love you guys keep up the great work. In this episode Scott talks to Matthew Hawkins, CEO of Waystar. Ultrasonic pulse velocity technique is one of the most popular non-destructive techniques used in the assessment of concrete properties. This paper deals with the analysis of such factors on the velocity–strength relationship. The relationship between ultrasonic pulse velocity, static and dynamic Young’s modulus and shear modulus was also analyzed. The influence of aggregate, initial concrete temperature, type of cement, environmental temperature, and w/c ratio was determined by our own experiments. Based on the experimental results, a numerical model was established within the Matlab programming environment. The multi-layer feed-forward neural network was used for this purpose. The paper demonstrates that artificial neural networks can be successfully used in modelling the velocity–strength relationship. This model enables us to easily and reliably estimate the compressive strength of concrete by using only the ultrasonic pulse velocity value and some mix parameters of concrete. I have gone to this clinic many times — walk in and for regular family doctor care.

Achieving true payment accuracy and eliminating waste in healthcare requires not only ensuring that claims are billed and paid appropriately, but also factoring a patient’s risk profile and quality outcomes into healthcare payments. That was one topic of conversation as Cotiviti CEO Emad Rizk, M.D., joined The Incrementalist host Dr. Nick van Terheyden for a conversation on how to transform healthcare waste into better patient care. Funeral took place on Thursday, October 30 with a Mass of Christian Burial at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria. At the heart of the faith and worship of the Coptic Orthodox Church is Jesus Christ Himself. The Holy Bible along with the Sacred Tradition of the Church point to Jesus Christ as God and Savior. He desires that all people come into the saving knowledge of Truth. All are called to lead holy lives, according to God’s commandments, in order to receive the promise of eternal life. In addition to prayer, fasting is an important spiritual exercise in the life of the Orthodox Church. Fasting is the voluntary abstinence from eating certain types of food or, at times, from food altogether. The goal of fasting is to sacrifice the needs of the body in order to focus on the spiritual life. Therefore, prayer, worship, repentance, almsgiving, and other spiritual exercises accompany fasting. The Church sets aside days throughout the year of fasting. Icons are images of Jesus Christ and the saints. Unlike pictures or portraits, icons are not meant to capture natural or physical characteristics, but rather the spiritual. Icons are used in worship and are often called “windows to heaven.” The Orthodox faithful do not worship the icon itself. Rather, the faithful experience a spiritual connection with Jesus Christ and the saints through the veneration of icons. The goal of the Orthodox Church is to bring her members into communion with Jesus Christ as Lord, God, and Savior. The life and practice of the Church aim to produce change in the lives of the faithful. The Church offers many means for nourishing the spiritual life in order to lead her members to holiness and sanctity. The word Coptic traces its roots to the age of the Pharaohs. Over time, the words Coptic and Christian have also become interchangeable. Coptic Christians are considered the descendants of the ancient Egyptians. Founded by one of the four gospel writers, Saint Mark the Evangelist, the Coptic Church is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world. Alexandria served as one of the major centers of Christianity in the early years of the church. Tasony Maria was a appointed a deaconess for the church of St. Mary & St. Mark in Edmonton by HG Bishop Mina in December 2013. She serves as the Canadian Coptic Community Centre manager and is responsible for church communication. Bishop Mina lived for numerous years in Edmonton, before being ordained a monk. In March 1984 he was ordained a monk by the name of Fr. Paphnotius Avva Mina at the monastery of Saint Mina in Mariout, Egypt. He was the last bishop to be ordained by the His Holiness Pope Shenouda III on June 6, 2009. On March 10, 2013 he was delegated by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II as the Diocesan Bishop of Mississauga, Vancouver and all the surrounding cities, towns and villages. His Grace Bishop Mina was enthroned in Mississauga, ON on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 and in Vancouver, BC on Sunday, April 13th, 2013. We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home. I am very involved with Ottawa’s Lebanese community and volunteer at the Lebanese Festival, at arts and culture events at St. Elias Orthodox church, and at various charitable events around the city. This group is only shown in temporary positions which will be firmed-up during September and after discussing with each of them. “The battle… is being waged by Islamists who want their interpretation of the religion to be declared as the only acceptable version,” Rubin wrote in February. Barry Rubin, the director of the Global Research in International Affairs Center, has long warned about the growing threat of Islamist policies in Egypt. Following the charter’s release, Rubin’s analysis on Egypt’s Islamist agenda-ignored by much of the West-rings truer now than ever before. The SCC still has time to dissolve the constitutional assembly, however “President Mohamed Morsi would move quickly to appoint a new assembly that would be of a similar makeup,” explained Hani Sabra, a reporter with Foreign Policy. More than a hundred Egyptians were injured last Friday when street fighting erupted in Cairo between young secularist revolutionaries and the Muslim Brotherhood’s core supporters. The violence signified Egypt’s broadening division over the country’s new constitution-a draft of which was released last week-and the role of Islam in the country’s affairs. While moderates say the constitution favors Islamists, the Muslim Brotherhood defend the legality of the assembly that drafted the document, claiming the body was justly appointed by a democratically elected parliament and therefore has authority to write the constitution. Among the concerns of liberals are provisions in the new charter relating to Egypt’s Supreme Constitutional Court , which are almost identical to the outgoing constitution. In the draft, President Mohammad Morsi-like ousted President Hosni Mubarak before him-has the power to appoint the head of court and its 15 members after receiving nominations from lower courts. The security source also revealed that Egypt’s security apparatus is in possession of confirmed information that a large number of jihadists are in hiding in the mountainous regions of southern Sinai. It is extremely difficult for the Egyptian military and security forces to reach these remote mountainous regions, particularly without logistical support from the local population. He added that Egyptian security forces do not intend to carry out any pre-emptive operations in the Sinai Peninsula in the forthcoming period, stressing that the Egyptian authorities have no desire to increase tensions in the region or escalate any potential conflict. This comes after Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis threatened to carry out large-scale revenge attacks against Israel after an Israeli air strike killed Tawhid wal-Jihad emir Hisham al-Saedini and Ansar al Sunnah emir Ashraf al-Sabah on Saturday. Is an assault on freedoms, which the West so often praises, and is a violation to all laws regulating this international media sector. The decision lacks any logic that can be accepted or justified,” the group said. “These arbitrary decisions will not hide the truth and will not prevent the targeted channels from finding avenue to remain active and voice the truth … Despite all actions taken by the West and their Arab followers,” a statement from the Lebanese group’s media office said. It lashed out at the Lebanese government’s disassociation policy on developments in Syria. “It is up to the Lebanese people to judge the Lebanese government that has distanced itself from the blood of the Syrian people after it was formed by Hezbollah which controls its decision-making,” the statement said. Additionally, it called for the disbanding of all militias and for the extension of the Lebanese government’s control over all Lebanese territory. Obama has already given the Islamic Republic four more years in which to pursue its nuclear ambitions. When Obama entered the White House Iran had around 400 centrifuges enriching uranium up to 3.5 per cent. Now it has 12,000 enriching up to 20 per cent. The consensus in Tehran is that if Obama gets four more years, Iran would have enough time to develop a full nuclear cycle and impose it as fait accompli. At the other end of the spectrum, Tehran does not want Netanyahu to win the next Israeli election. Geagea also said that Hassan’s assassination was “a big blow to the Lebanese people, state and government.” However, he said that the Ashrafieh blast would only increase the “determination and principles” of March 14.
This clinic is horrible….unprofessional and very rude staff, as specially receptionist. Every time I come here, I expect to wait an hour to an hour and a half before getting called in. I would have gone elsewhere today if the receptionist didn’t tell me there was two walk-ins in front of me and one appointment. Now however, the room is full of people 10—12 and I still haven’t been called. They shouldn’t do a walk-in if they can’t have people in and out and on their way without feeling forgotten about every single time. Sometimes It is hard to get through for phone booking but all staffs make their best effort to accommodate your appointment time for you. S try to accommodate me instead of us being booked after few days or weeks. I am happy with being the clinic patient & had/have no reason to leave it, although I have another new clinic closer to my house. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for highly professional, attentive and personal care. NOT ALL DOCTORS listed on this website may be accepting new patients.
